Commission a Beetle Painting

Choose your own beetle from my range of illustrations and give me up to 3 colours to use. A completely unique painting just for you.

They call coleopterology 'Gods Hobby' because there are just so many different species of beetles!

They are completely fascinating. Especially the way they change from a squishy little grub into a beautiful beetle. They are the real ugly duckling story. (Although there's something about those little larvae guys too)

This design is taken from a drawing of an MTU beetle, with a little Wilful Ink artistic license, and gold paint added.

Each one is unique, as no hand painted bug could be exactly the same as another.

Collect your own colourful colony.

An original painting using mixed media including ink and gouache.

Mini paintings are a great way to collect original art. Ideal for small gaps in your gallery wall or those forgotten spaces.
