Jellyfish are part of the class of animals called Scyphozoa.
Many of these exquisite creatures are capable of creating their own light.
This painting is a reminder that we can make our own light too.
This is an original mixed media painting. The black background has been painstakingly applied around the delicate tentacles to achieve the most contrast possible.
